JUST. the good stuff

JUST

Simplicity is the hardest thing to sell. Every instinct in advertising pushes toward more. More claims, more features, more reasons to believe. So when Saltmine Creative helped launch JUST, a new bread built on a genuinely simple promise, the whole job was to resist all of that. Six ingredients. Baker's flour, water, yeast, vinegar, oil and salt. That's the loaf. That's the pitch. That's the brand. The campaign just had to make simple feel like the most joyful thing in the aisle.
JUST. arrived as a national launch for Goodman Fielder, one of Australia's biggest names in everyday food, rolling out across social and out-of-home right around the country. The positioning is refreshingly honest. In a category that loves to complicate itself with grains you can't pronounce and health claims that need a footnote, JUST. does the opposite. A handful of pantry ingredients, baked fresh, baked well. No wondering what's in it. Just good bread. The brand line says it plainly, and so does everything around it. JUST. the good stuff.
The creative came from Saltmine Creative, with Kieran leading the concept. Strong, confident, colour-forward branding built to pop on a phone screen and a billboard alike, leaning into the name and the six ingredients as the whole hook. It's the kind of creative that lives or dies on energy. Get the rhythm right and simple feels like a celebration. Get it wrong and it just feels like less. The brief that came to CoBox was refreshingly open. Take the supplied creative, put your spin on it, make it pop. Keep it vibrant. Make it bounce along.

And it does bounce. The whole spot lives on a warm terracotta backdrop, with the rounded JUST. wordmark swinging in oversized and off-angle, scaling and snapping in time with the track. Bold typographic beats punch through, a handful, the ingredients, stacked in the brand's coral-and-brown palette. Then the macro cutaways land like little jolts of texture, flour crushed and thrown against black, golden oil pouring and rippling, each one tagged clean and simple. Baker's flour. Oil. Yeast. Salt. The talent brings the joy home, real people mid-bite with genuine relish, a cheeky side-eye here, a wide-eyed grin there, all the way to JUST. DELICIOUS.

CoBox handled the post-production, working closely with Robbie Moore from ShotBox Films and the Saltmine team. Aaron Petersen cut the spot, and the first pass set the tone for everything that followed. Armed with a temp music track and the supplied footage, Aaron built an edit with enough energy and playfulness that the client responded to it immediately. It landed so well, in fact, that it shifted the direction of the campaign. The poppy, jump-cut rhythm of that first draft became the finished style, the edit leading the creative rather than the other way around. Bright cuts, quick beats, pack shots and talent bouncing along in time with the track. The whole thing moves the way the bread is meant to feel. Uncomplicated, full of flavour, easy to love.

Post Lead, Aaron Petersen and Motion designer Darryn Rogers brought the final layer of polish, refining the logo animation and, crucially, normalising the shifting colour palette between the vibrant pack shots and talent. That's the kind of invisible craft that makes or breaks a colour-led campaign. When the brand palette is this strong, the jumps between a golden oil macro, a coral talent shot and a clean pack render have to feel intentional rather than jarring, and Darryn's work holds the whole vibrant world together so it reads as one clean, cohesive piece.

The finished campaign launched nationally across social and out-of-home, carrying the JUST. name and its six-ingredient simplicity out into the wild. For a launch built entirely on the idea of less, the work proves a nice little point. Simple doesn't have to mean quiet. Done with the right energy, simple can be the most joyful thing on the shelf.

For CoBox, it was exactly the kind of collaboration the collective model is built for. A trusted production partner in ShotBox, a sharp creative agency in Saltmine, and an open brief that let the editor do what they do best - take good raw material and give it a pulse.
